Oh the wonderful things you can find when you just type in the word teak in kijiji's or craigslist search field. Or how about mid century, art deco, VINTAGE? Sometimes your searches will spit out some sweet one of kind finds...maybe finds that you didn't even know you were looking for but how can you possibly live without now that its staring back at you? Stumbled on this gem in a random kijiji search and to my wonder it works. Mid century foot stool orange embroidered top and vinyl sides with teak legs. Its new home is a corner in the living room and besides doubling as Moe's (our cat) unofficial seat, it also completely pulls the room together.
And look at that! Extra storage to stash all the bits and bobs that clutter up the room (remote controls, DVDs...). Looks like it may have doubled as a sewing box?? Whatever it's purpose this one of a kinder is for keeps. Welcome home Orange Crush.
Interesting side note, the cute gal I purchased this from originally scored it in Kensington Market. She said the 4 of clubs was in the pocket when she got it so she thought they should stay together. I agreed, and there the 4 of clubs shall remain.
